Caring for Your Pyrography Art

Wood is an organic material. Because pyrography is created by burning fibers, the artwork will naturally mellow and change character over time.

To preserve the detail and contrast of your piece, I will apply a UV-resistant protective finish. However, to ensure your art remains vibrant for years to come, please follow these care guidelines:

• Avoid Direct Sunlight: Do not display your artwork in a room that receives full, all-day sun. Prolonged exposure to UV rays is the primary cause of fading in wood art.

• Maintenance: For long-term protection, you could lightly recoat the piece with a clear UV-resistant spray if needed.

• Environment: Keep the piece indoors in a non-humid space.
