Commissions

I am accepting commissions for my pyrography - in my current style of working (be sure to take a look at my Home page, SHOP and 2024 as a reference). To request a commission simply email me at jodiearttaupo@outlook.com to begin the process.
 

• Completion date - I will be able to give you a quote on an estimated completion date once size and composition has been decided upon. Large pyrography pieces can take up to 2 months to produce and this will be dependent on other art commitments.

• Price will be determined by size, composition and time to complete - a quote will be provided alongside the estimated completion date.
   

Once an agreement  upon size, composition, price and timeline has been arrived at - a non-refundable 25% deposit will be required prior to the work being started.

The Process :

- Basic details confirmed & next available start date  and estimated completion date established.  A commission agreement will be signed by the artist and the customer.
- Deposit paid.
- Slab and size of wood alongside the composition will be shared with you (either digitally or in person if an agreed meeting time can be made)
- Work on the commission begins.
-  If required I can send updates throughout the process.
-  A final photo will be sent once the commission is complete.
-  Full payment
-  Once full payment is received the piece can be picked up or shipped (at the cost of the customer).
 

• Payment: I will send an electronic invoice payable online via bank transfer.
   

If you cancel the commission at any point during the process:

• Once the deposit is paid it is NON-REFUNDABLE

• The copyright to the composition and piece will become the property of the artist (Jodie Appleton)

• The artist will be able to exhibit, show and sell the piece
