Canvasing Taupō
Three scenes from local walking tracks - pyrography on pine. These were part of the 100 Canvas fundraising exhibition at Taupō Museum.
This year I was working at a small rural school with students to develop a Mural on their water tank, at the front of their school. One of the schools strategic aims is to develop the school environment. The planning and painting also formed part of the visual arts curriculum for all the children. I entered the mural into the Resene Mural Masterpieces National Competition. We were thrilled when we found out we had won 3rd place!
